Hello. My name is Natalie. I'm what I consider an ammature photographer, but my passion for taking pictures is in full drive, and I want nothing more than to consider myself a "real" photographer. Within the last 12 months, I've taken thousands of photos, some that were deleted immediately, and some that struck such a chord in me, that I knew I had just done something special.
As far as what kind of pictures I take, well, that is pretty hard to answer right now. I can honestly say, I don't know. In the past, I've shot a very unconventional wedding, kids portraits, senior portraits, and most recently, I've taken some abstract shots of some pretty random things. In the next few months, I'm slated to photograph a newborn and perhaps a family session and an engagement session. I'm hoping with all of these, I will be able to create a well-rounded portfolio, both online and hard copy. I also hope that these pictures turn out fantastic, so that I may be able to shoot more, and get referred through word of mouth.
I'm confident that I have an "eye" for professional photography and that it is something that I would love to pursue. I absolutely LOVE weddings, and would love to shoot more of them, given the opprotunity. I feel my only setback may be my camera. I currently have a Canon Powershot that's about 3 years old. I've taken some pretty awesome pictures with it, but I know that with a DSLR, my awesome pictures could be spectacular. So that is what I'm debating, and of course, which DSLR to get!
For now, I'm very content with my current camera, and I will continue to shoot away. I'm now going to attempt to post some recent pictures.
Here some of the kid's pictures...
And some senior pictures...
Enjoy!
