Senior Portraits-Jordan

So Jordan is beautiful. Like flawlessly beautiful. I may be biased because she's my cousin :) For Jordan's shoot, we went to Guadalupe. I love Guad. There are so many different elements, varying from urban to rustic. With Jordan, we were able to hit all of those! She has such great style, that each outfit match SO well with each location. It's my favorite when a senior thinks about their outfits and has a plan. I think these pictures pretty much explain why! Congrats Jordan, I hope you enjoy the last few months of childhood!

Isabelle-Senior Rep

This shoot was one for the books! First off, Isabelle is awesome. She's fun, stylish, has a great smile, of course beautiful, but had her own ideas too. She's a Nipomo High School Titan (go Eagles! :) ). She's also lettered in cheer! Total package :) We had a hard time picking "the spot". Isabelle and her mom picked a couple of my idea spots and we were set. But then her mom messaged me, said they had an uncle with a nice house in the foothills of Nipomo. That was fine with me, I love new places! She gave me the address and off I went. Well I didn't pull up to just a house. This PROPERTY was luxurious, spacious, and just plain amazing. Luckily Isabelle was getting my largest package of two hours of shooting, because we needed it! Everything was perfect. The light, the backdrop of Nipomo and an INCREDIBLE sunset that allowed for us to over-shoot by 45 minutes! It was an amazing time and Isabelle was so, so good. Gorgeous, but she knew to have a good time too, which is always good for me! She had so many outfit ideas, poses, etc, and that's what I love. Seeing my clients invested in their photos is the cherry on top for me. I loved taking these pictures and I love looking at them STILL! Thanks for choosing me Isabelle (and Angelica). It was absolutely my pleasure. I hope you love these photos for many years to come!

Senior Rep-Reyann

Wow, it's been a very long nine months since I've blogged! Since then, lots has happened with my business. I've decided to branch out to being able to shoot senior portraits. Shooting seniors means you are required to submit the yearbook photo to the school at the beginning of the school year. Sounds easy enough, but there are some hoops to jump threw to do so, so I always put it off. Well at the beginning of the year, I decided it was time! I took it a step further and created my very first year of having a Senior Graduate Representative Program. Really a fancy way of saying I have 10 students from local high schools representing me and I reward them. Haha. It's a fun program that is going great so far! So enough about me, time to talk about Reyann! I loved her from the moment I met Reyann and her momma Maryann. They were SO enthusiastic and just so into my program. Reyann already had so many ideas for her session, opting out for the basic park shoot very early on. I was so excited when her Maryann messaged me wanting to do her session in June. She would be my first senior of the year and I knew she'd have some great ideas. Not only did she have great ideas, but so did her mom! We met at a location we both knew of, then I followed them. They lead me to the fields. Into the fields, like where the tractors go! Her mom passes this secluded tree stump that she just loved. So after a short hike through very, very soft dirt, lol, we reached the stump. It was awesome. Aside from windy (typical SM Valley), it was gorgeous and blue and the sun was golden. We spent some time with the stump and treked back down to the cars. They led me to another field location, this time to a barn! The lighting was INSANE. It matched perfectly with the beautiful Reyann. I then followed them once again to the fields, this time next to lettuce! Haha. Who get's to say that? This girl! We were under the train tracks and next to the gorgeous and very green lettuce. Stellar location and even better photos happened here. The last location was to Reyann's own softball field in Guadalupe. She's a hardcore player and this was her favorite part. She ditched the adorable dresses she previously wore in exchange for a pair of chucks, jeans, and her glove and bat. She rocked the whole session, but she just KILLED it at the field. She was in her element and definitely knew what I was talking about when I said "no smile, but not sad". Lol. I had a great time, and so did Reyann and her mom, Maryann. I love these photos, and I hope you do too.
